Finnieston has a fantastic array of restaurants, bars and shops and was named ‘The Hippest place in the UK 2016’ by The Times. This was a perfect opportunity to set up a food tour in Finnieston. An evening tour of The Glasgow Food and Drink Tour, it allows people to try great Scottish food in Glasgow.

Starting off at Mister Singh’s is where we try Haggis Pakora. Yes it’s on the outskirts of Finnieston but they are known for their ‘World Famous Haggis Pakora’. Portraying a Scottish/Indian fusion, this tasty Indian street food with a Scottish twist, is a fabulous way to start the tour.

Moving on to The Park Bar. A traditional Scottish Bar and stomping ground of the Islanders and Highlanders visiting or now staying in Glasgow. Here, you have the choice of trying a selection of Scottish Island Gin with ceilidh music in the background.

Next on to The Butchershop Bar and Grill. One of the best steaks I have ever tried. They use Scottish Beef from the Boarders and it is cooked to perfection. Accompanied by sides and a drink of your choice, it allows guests to indulge in the main course element of our tour.

On to our final stop – Innis & Gunn. We try Scottish Cheese with whisky and craft beer here. From Blue Murder to Arran Brie – it’s not just cheddar in Scotland, however the Isle of Mull Cheddar is pretty darn good. The perfect way to end the evening.

Come join us on a tour – What’s not to love? Food, Drink and Banter – aye why not!
