When in the west end a visit to The Hidden Lane Tearoom is needed. Located in Argyle Court or widely known as The Hidden Lane, it’s just off the Finnieston Strip (Argyle Street).

This quirky Tearoom off the beaten track is perfect for Afternoon Tea. With sandwiches and soups to cakes with a wide array of Tea’s, you certainly eat some great quality produce. Everything’s homemade! Not only that you can BYOB (corkage charge applies), so if it’s prosecco or wine that tickles your fancy, bring it along.

They have a great range of sandwiches from smoked salmon to halloumi, a variety of cakes and bakes like Victoria sponge and Scottish scones, soups and over 30 loose leaf teas (they like their teas).

The Tearoom has a quirky, mismatched feel with the vintage teapots, cups, saucers and furniture adding to its charm.

They have 2 floors so they have space for tea parties, business lunches and can cater for private parties.

The Hidden Lane features on our tours. We enjoy smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, tiffin and Tea. It’s not just the food that’s cracking, it’s the venue and location. So many of our guests comment on how amazing it is.

So get yourself to The Hidden Tearoom when you visit Glasgow, you’ll not regret it – just remember to book, or even better come join us on a food tour!
