The West End Wander
The tour route is mostly flat with a slight hill in Kelvingrove park and en route to the University of Glasgow. At all stops, there will be seating and toilet facilities available. The longest walk is 15-20 minutes between stops. The tour is approximately 2.5 miles (4Km). In Scotland the legal drinking age is 18. Please bring ID with you for the drink tastings.
The West End Wander at Night
The tour route is mostly flat with a slight hill en route to the University of Glasgow and there will be seating and toilet facilities available at all stops. The longest walk is 10-15 minutes between stops. The tour is approximately 2 miles (3.2Km). In Scotland the legal drinking age is 18. Please bring ID with you for the drink tastings.
We aim to complete The West End Wander within 4 hours and the West End Wander at Night within 3.5 hours. However it can vary depending on service times in establishments, walking pace of the tour and how much the party are enjoying themselves. Please leave extra time at end of the tour before arranging another event.
The starting location of the Glasgow food tour will be emailed to you with the confirmation of your booking. The guide will assist you with directions back to your accommodation at the end of the tour if required.

Tour goes ahead rain or shine. In Scotland, 9 times out of 10 it’s raining and windy so bring appropriate clothing and footwear but fear not, you can experience some sunshine and even warm (Taps aff) weather. Tours will only be cancelled if weather is severe and not safe.
Children are welcome and soft drinks will be provided. On The West End Wander, we walk approximately 2.5 miles (4Km) so please bear in mind if you bring your children along. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately children cannot join The West End Wander at Night.

Parking on the street can be expensive, so we advise parking in the nearby car parks or park in the city centre and get the subway to Kelvinhall from Buchanan Street for the West End Wander. For the West End Wander at Night you can get a train from Glasgow Queen Street to Charing Cross (2 minute train journey).
Car Parks: Charing Cross City Parking (41 Elmbank St, Glasgow G2 4PG), Buchanan Galleries Car Park (Killermont Street, Glasgow, G1 2BG).
Hillhead subway is very close to the finish of the tour and the subway will take you to Buchanan Street in the city centre.
